Executive Events

A trusted circle for the people everyone else turns to.

Leading HR means navigating business priorities, workforce challenges, and the conversations that rarely make it onto a meeting agenda. Having peers who understand that responsibility can make all the difference.

The HR Executive Roundtable brings together Chief Human Resources Officers, Chief People Officers, and equivalent heads of HR for candid conversation, shared learning, and meaningful connection. Based in Colorado, our community offers in-person and virtual opportunities to exchange perspectives with leaders who understand the complexity—and occasional absurdity—of the role.

A place to think together

When a difficult decision lands on your desk, another experienced HR leader can offer something an article or webinar cannot: perspective grounded in having been there.

Our roundtable creates space to ask honest questions, test your thinking, and learn how other organizations are approaching similar challenges. Members bring their experience, curiosity, and willingness to help one another become more effective leaders.

You do not need to arrive with a polished success story. A thoughtful question is just as welcome.

What you’ll gain

Five returns on the time you give

  1. Peers who understand your responsibilities

Build relationships with fellow heads of HR who navigate the same tensions between people, performance, culture, and business results.

  2. Practical ideas you can use

Exchange approaches, lessons learned, and resources that help you move from discussion to action when you return to work.

  3. Candid conversations about consequential issues

Explore the questions that deserve more than a quick answer, from influencing the executive team to navigating organizational change.

  4. Connection between gatherings

Stay connected through member questions, shared resources, and relevant updates. When something unfamiliar comes across your desk, you have a community to turn to.

  5. Space for your own development

Spend time strengthening your judgment, perspective, and leadership while you support the growth of everyone else.

Conversations shaped by what matters to HR leaders

Our discussions reflect the priorities and challenges members are facing. Topics may include:

  • Strengthening HR's strategic influence and communicating its business impact.
  • Navigating AI, workforce change, and the future of work.
  • Building leadership capability and succession readiness.
  • Addressing culture, accountability, and employee experience.
  • Working effectively with CEOs, executive teams, and boards.
  • Developing executive presence and sustaining your own effectiveness.

Gatherings combine peer discussion, small-group conversations, and insights from experienced leaders and invited experts.

Who the roundtable is for

Membership is intended for the senior executive responsible for leading an organization’s HR or People function. This includes CHROs, CPOs, and leaders with equivalent responsibility, regardless of title.

A shared level of responsibility helps keep conversations relevant, substantive, and grounded in the decisions members make every day.

How we connect

We meet every other month through a mix of in-person gatherings in the Denver metro area and virtual sessions. Each gathering offers opportunities to deepen relationships, explore timely issues, and contribute your own perspective.

Members help shape the conversation by sharing the questions and challenges that matter most to them.
